NO.1 DON'T TOUCH YOUR FACE

We touch many surfaces everyday, weather that's the hand rail at school, the escalators at a shopping center or the taps in a public bathroom all of these places have one thing in common... GERMS! Hundreds of other people have also touched those exact same places, someone may have sneezed in their hand or just been playing sports and sweating profusely before touching the same place you are now gliding your hands over, collecting all of their bacteria.


Now imagine all that bacteria collected on your hands throughout the day, if you were to sit down and rest your head into your hand those germs are now directly transferred to your face.




This can lead to an increase of acne breakouts, especially if you have a tendency to pick at pimples, now that bacteria is directly being transferred into a pimple. This can be a continuous problem, so beware of what you are touching and wash your hands regularly.


NO.2 EATING TOO MUCH SUGAR

Eating lots of sugar will give you breakouts, you may not think you consume that much of it but small amounts on a daily basis really do add up! Cereal for breakfast is usually packed full of sugar, starting your day off with the very first meal being high in sugar is a sure way to set yourself up for failure. Eat things like scrambled eggs or oats instead is a better option.


Sugar feeds all kinds of bad bacteria in your body, our bad bacteria LOVES sugar and when you try to come off it, it can be like coming off a drug addiction, people often experience withdrawals and headaches.


Even fruit is high in sugar, this is a better source of sugar rather than lollies or ice cream but still everything in moderation. Too much sugar will increase your skins oil production, then causing breakouts.



NO.3 BOYS & GIRLS MUST CLEAN THEIR FACE

It doesn't matter if your male or female you still need to clean your face, even just walking down the street, dust and car pollution land on your face clogging your pores and creating blackheads if not cleaned. If you wear makeup that will clog your skin and if you play sports, sweating in the sun will leave bacteria on your skin. Both need to be cleaned away or will create pimples and blackheads if left behind.



NO.4 WASHING YOUR FACE WITH WATER ONLY ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH

Imagine you have an oily pan you just finished cooking with, if you rinsed water over the oily pan would it become clean? No. The water would run straight off and leave a oily film behind. Just like that our skin has natural oils in it, if we run water over the top it will simply run straight off. But we also don't want to strip all of our natural oil away, that's what keeps up young! Rather a gentle cleanser designed for skin should break away surface amounts of dirt and oil and not strip away our deep, natural oils.


NO.5 DONT USE SOAP ON YOUR FACE!

Soap is affective at removing every bit of oil left on a surface, perfect for cleaning...terrible for skin! We only need to gently clean the surface of our skin, that's where the dirt, makeup and sweat collects. But stripping away everything is also bad, our natural oils keep us young and healthy looking, they help our skin repair and recover, ripping them away will make our skin weak and dry. So NO SOAP but rather a gentle skin cleanser!
