Social media has undoubtedly become a huge part of everyone's normal life. And while there's alot of health conscious people that tell us how unhealthy it can be if we become too consumed by it (which is true) it has a positive side, more than ever before in history it's brought into acceptance peoples unique appearances/personalities/flares it's a platform where we now see people embracing their differences like they are gifts. In fact it's in fashion to be as unique as possible these days. We see models and influencer's from all backgrounds, sizes and ages some with skin disorders, some with disabilities. Something that would've never been seen not too long ago, past generations adopted an idea of beauty that tended to be less open minded then we are now, that was beautiful...and that was it! Magazines & movies featured models of similar builds & if you didn't fit the mould then you weren't the norm! So for changing that very narrow view of beauty social media has definitely changed society for the better and that's what BARE + ROSE is all about!
